status report: two hours and all's well
We're (theoretically) about halfway through the surgery, and the O.R. just called to say that everything is going well.
I am lving in California and cannot be of much immediate assistance, but I want you all to know that I am thinking of you. In these situations, I sometimes think back to the Care Bears which my kids had when they were little-- they sent a rainbow of positive thoughts that created strength. Tell Tina that I am one of her Care Bears sending long distance curative positive thought. Nina
Tina, I just learned of this situation from John Gilpin via email. It is 12:10 on Wednesday, and I am going to say some healing prayers for you as soon as I have posted, and throughout the day.
Kearney, thanks so much for keeping us all posted. I found myself checking the clock throughout a business lunch wondering if you'd put up any more news. And I guffawed at reading your description of her insistent efficiency last night. You and Michael and Shea deserve gold stars. --Elizabeth
It's 12:45 your time, so I hope you've had something nourishing today . Do you have a stack of magazines you're not getting read? We're with you in thought and spirit and are grateful for the updates. Hugs! Peggy and Mark (or as Tina would say, marknpeg)
Great news! Our thoughts are with you every moment.
